Official Rules

These Official Rules (“Rules”) govern Prize Events in Trivia Wars. Prize Events are posted in the app’s Bounty Board and may award digital rewards (including gift cards) or other prizes. These Rules are incorporated into the Terms of Service.

1. Sponsor / Administrator

2. Eligibility

• Open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, unless a specific Prize Event states otherwise.
• Void where prohibited. Availability may vary by state or jurisdiction.
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family/household members of Sponsor may be ineligible where required or as determined by Sponsor.

3. No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to enter Prize Events. Purchasing Brain Bucks or a subscription does not guarantee winning and does not create a redeemable “cash out” balance.

4. How to Enter

Prize Events are entered in the app using Prize Tickets (free entries). Each Prize Event will disclose its entry cost (if any), start/end time, prize(s), and winner selection method in the Bounty Board.

4.1 Free Methods to Obtain Prize Tickets

• Daily login bonuses and free challenges (as disclosed in-app).
• Alternative Method of Entry (“AMOE”) described below.
• Bonus Prize Tickets with certain in-app purchases (where offered), subject to caps and rules disclosed in-app.

4.2 AMOE (Alternative Method of Entry)

To request free Prize Tickets without purchase, email contact@nexument.com with subject line “Trivia Wars AMOE” and include:

• Your account email and in-app username (if created).
• Your full name, state of residence, and date of birth.
• The statement: “I am requesting free Prize Tickets via AMOE.”

Limit: 1 AMOE request per person per day. Each valid request will be credited with 5 Prize Tickets (or the standard AMOE amount disclosed in-app if updated). Allow up to 72 hours for processing. Sponsor may require additional verification to prevent abuse.

5. Entry Limits and Fair Play

• One account per person (no multi-accounting).
• Sponsor may cap the number of entries/attempts per Prize Event and/or per time period.
• Use of bots, automation, VPNs, GPS spoofing, or other circumvention methods is prohibited.

6. Prizes

Prizes (typically digital reward codes) and approximate retail values (“ARV”) are listed in the Bounty Board for each Prize Event. Prizes are not a stored balance and are awarded only as explicitly listed for a specific event.

• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be resold where prohibited by law or issuer terms.
• Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize is unavailable.
• Winners are responsible for any taxes, if applicable.

7. Winner Selection

Winner selection depends on the Prize Event format and will be disclosed in-app. Examples include:

• Skill/Leaderboard: Highest score (accuracy + speed) within the event window.
• Beat-the-score bounty: Meet the posted win condition within the event rules.
• Random draw: Random selection among eligible entries (where disclosed).

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible participants and the specific event format.

8. Winner Notification and Verification

Winners may be notified in-app and/or by email. Sponsor may require eligibility verification before awarding a prize (for example, confirming age and location). If a winner fails to respond or verify within the timeframe disclosed in-app (or within 7 days if not stated), the winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected where applicable.

9. Prize Fulfillment

Prizes are typically fulfilled within 7 business days after verification, unless the specific Prize Event discloses a different timeline.

10. Disqualification

Sponsor may disqualify entries and/or winners for violations of these Rules, the Terms, or for fraud/abuse (including automation, cheating, or multi-accounting). Disqualification may result in forfeiture of Prize Tickets and prizes where permitted by law.
