Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and NexumEnt (“NexumEnt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of Trivia Wars (the “Service”), including our websites, mobile applications, and related services.

Important: Trivia Wars has two separate worlds: (1) an entertainment world where users may buy Brain Bucks for fun and features, and (2) a prize world where eligible users may enter Prize Events using Prize Tickets (free entries) to win listed Prizes (e.g., gift cards). Brain Bucks and Prize Tickets are not redeemable for cash.

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or submitting a signup request, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the related policies linked below. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Key Definitions

• Brain Bucks: A non-redeemable in-app coin used for entertainment features.
• Prize Tickets: Free entries used to enter Prize Events.
• Bounty Board / Prize Events: The in-app hub where we post challenges and events with listed prizes.
• Prizes: Digital rewards (including gift cards) or other items we offer for specific events.

4. Eligibility

4.1 Age

• The Service is not intended for children under 13.
• You must be 18+ to be eligible to win and receive prizes unless an event states otherwise.

4.2 Location

Prize Events are available only where permitted and are void where prohibited. Availability may vary by state or region. We may restrict or disable Prize Events for compliance and fraud prevention.

5. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity on your account. You agree not to share accounts or create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage or to farm entries.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

Purchases (including subscriptions and Brain Bucks) are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). We do not process or store full card numbers.

• No cash value: Brain Bucks are not money and are not redeemable for cash or prizes.
• No conversion: Brain Bucks do not convert into Prize Tickets or any redeemable balance.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by the platform where you made the purchase (see Refund Policy).

7. Prize Events and Prizes

Prize Events are governed by the Official Rules. The Official Rules control in the event of a conflict with marketing statements or in-app displays.

• No purchase necessary: Prize Tickets must be obtainable for free.
• Prizes are posted up front: We define prizes for specific events; prizes are not a running “wallet” balance.
• Verification: We may require eligibility verification before awarding or fulfilling a prize.
• Limits: We may cap entries/attempts and limit wins per person to keep events fair and sustainable.
• Disqualification: We may disqualify entries or winners for rule violations, fraud, or abuse.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

• Cheating, automation, bots, account sharing, or multi-accounting.
• Attempts to bypass location or eligibility restrictions (e.g., VPNs or GPS spoofing).
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or illegal activity.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or interfering with Service security.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for any reason, including for suspected fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms or the Official Rules. Where permitted by law, disqualification may include forfeiture of Prize Tickets and prizes.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that you will win any prize.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NexumEnt will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to the Service.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, excluding conflict of law principles. Venue is in Virginia, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
